Quality Assurance Technician, CMM Programmer

A Quality Assurance Lab Technician works, independently and collaboratively, in a team atmosphere, to monitor and measure products and processes against compliance criteria. Lab Technicians actively engage in problem-solving, troubleshooting, development, maintenance, and revision of all quality processes, documents, and equipment. Lab Technicians must use hands-on inspection techniques and demonstrate sound interpretation of production and quality documents to adapt to changing environments and constraints. Quality Assurance Lab Technicians provide professional, higher-level support for customers, operators, and all stakeholders of the Quality Management System.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Supports Production of Compliant Products through:

  • Inspection (including FAI, in-process, sorting, receiving, etc.).
  • Testing (including force, load, torque, DT/NDT, etc.).
  • Documentation (including completion, creation, revision, tracking, retention, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting (including RCA, CAPA, CI, disposition, etc.).
  • Training (including gage usage, form completion, terminology, procedures, etc.).

Supports Quality Management System Compliance through:

  • Auditing (including Internal & External processes, suppliers, products, etc.).
  • Document Management (including creation, editing, control, calibration, preservation, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting (including customer interaction, tracking patterns, NCR, RCA, CAPA, CI, etc.).

Supports Engineering of Compliant Products through:

  • Product Launch & Development (APQP, PPAP, R&R, Inspection Methods, Gage Development, etc.).
  • Change Management (including updating documents, methods, etc.).
  • Troubleshooting (including RCA, CAPA, CI, disposition, etc.).

Supports Self & Others through:

  • Adhering and/or actively participating in Safety, Housekeeping, Training, Mentoring, etc.
  • Adhering and/or actively participating in Anti-discrimination, Anti-harassment, Positive Culture, etc.
  • Participating in improvement, testing, performance reviews, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned and approved by leadership or committee

Certificates/Licenses/Registration:

Preferred: Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Print Reading, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Metrology, Microsoft Office (Excel), ISO Auditor/Lead Auditor, APQP, RCA, CAPA, 8D, Six Sigma, Lean Methodologies

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
